HR Training

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) are vital components of any successful team or organisation. Research has shown time and time again that diverse and inclusive teams are the happiest and most successful. Managers require a strong understanding of the concepts of equality, diversity and inclusion in order that they can lead by example and demonstrate best practice. In short, creating diverse and inclusive workplaces is about more than just treating people equally.

Who should attend?

This course will be useful to anyone involved in managing people including those with HR responsibilities.

Who will deliver the training?

Our management training is delivered by highly-experienced and qualified HR practitioners with genuine ‘hands-on’ practical experience of supporting employers all over the UK with their HR requirements.

What are the benefits?

  • Delegates will increase their knowledge of EDI and gain an understanding of what these concepts look like in practice. They won’t just learn the theory; they will leave the session with an understanding of the practical steps that they can take to promote EDI and to demonstrate best practice. This should, in turn, help to drive forward a more inclusive workplace culture and the enormous benefits that that can bring. Delegates will also understand the potentially significant legal risks in this area, therefore, mitigating the organisation’s exposure to liability.
  • The organisation will have a more knowledgeable workforce, less likely to demonstrate discriminatory behaviours. The training will also support the organisation’s “statutory defence” in the event of a harassment claim being raised.
