Making EW a brilliant place to work


Our story started back in 1994 when Mark Ellis qualified as a solicitor and practised Employment Law for 10 years. He worked at a leading regional firm of commercial solicitors where he was Head of Employment Law and an owning partner. His team built a reputation for delivering commercially savvy advice and was recommended by both the UK Legal 500 and Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession.

Excited by challenging the status quo, Mark recognised an opportunity to improve the traditional way of delivering professional services. Passionate in his belief that professional services should prevent problems, add more value than cost and that fees charged should be fair and fixed, Mark founded EW in 2004. He subsequently built EW into a business with a national reputation for great support and service excellence.
