We target employers with fixed fee, unlimited access support on issues and compliance obligations concerning employees and the work place. We are highly successful, enjoying double digit growth rates and supporting 20,000 UK employers. Clients range from 10 employee small businesses to 10,000 employee organisations (such as Peter Jones’ group of companies, Pure Gym, Holland and Barratt and Oxford University).
We are now about to embark on a digital transformation programme and are recruiting for an experienced Developer to strengthen the in-house team.
This role will be within the in-house Technology Team supporting a digital transformation programme.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Integrate and contribute to the current dev team working across the full development lifecycle.
- Collaborate on specifications, design, development and testing of new features and applications.
- Develop suitable technology in line with business requirements.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and work to hard to keep themselves up to date with technology trends. They will be a great communicator with the ability to influence people to shape the technology direction of travel.
Key Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have experience in:
- SQL (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Web API
- Entity Framework
- XML, JSON
Desirable skills and experience include:
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in other programming languages
- Experience with Azure
- UI/UX skills
